As a co-founder of Neuma Technology
Corporation (NTC, 1990), Mr. Farah served as President & CEO,
with year to year increasing revenues, through its initial round
of Venture Capital funding, until his stepping aside in 1997.
After a subsequent merger, Mr. Farah spun out Neuma Technology
Inc. and has led the company as its President & CEO. Having
served on the Board of Directors for both NTC and i4i, Mr. Farah
is currently the Chairman for Neuma. Starting in 1976, Mr. Farah
led efforts at Bell-Northern Research Ltd. (now Nortel Networks)
in the areas of embedded telecommunications database technology
and software configuration management tools for the DMS-100
Product Family. In 1982 Mr. Farah moved to Mitel Corporation in
Ottawa focusing on the SX-2000 PBX technology. As Director of
Software Architecture and Technology, Mr. Farah established
industry leading development processes and tools, prior to
focusing on early ISDN technology research. Mr. Farah has a
Bachelors of Applied Science and Engineering (1976) from the
University of Toronto.
